I had heard that the spirit is so thick in this place that "you can cut it with a knife" (quote from my neighbor who told me to take the chance to go if I could). So, that made us really interested in making a visit to these special grounds happen this summer before Grandma and Grandpa Woodbury's mission was over. The summer was nearing the end and my little brother Parker'd just barely got back from his 2 year mission in England and so we all drove up in the Sienna to Salt Lake, and then Josh and Abby continued on to WY. (Kate and I felt more needed with my fam!) It worked out just great- I think we all ended up where we needed to be and these guys had such a great,
(and true to expectation, spiritual) time.
They had a group or 2 come through as a family reunion, and I think that would be really neat to do someday! Hopefully I get to see and feel what Josh and his mom and dad got to be a part of. For now, the closest I'll get is hearing the stories and watching
"17 Miracles" and "Ephraim's Rescue" (LOVE, Love, Loved those movies).
