Costa Maya, Mexico

We took our own jeep tour of the town and it was humbling to see how these happy people lived. Josh noticed this is 2 trees growing on top of eachother! We got to see some spactacular ruins! It was really fun to think that someone actually discovered this community under the thick mass of jungle that had preserved them so well.

We hit the beach for a couple of hours before it was time to head back to the ship. Josh got to do some fishing and I took a nap :)

Belize City

We hopped right on a bus for our cave tubing tour and this was our guide. He gave us a short tour of the city and we got to ask questions about their country. It made me very grateful to live in the US.We floated down this river through some beautiful caves. The guides assured us the water wasn't cold, but "refreshing". We even got to see some bats!shopping was so cheap!

Cozumel, Mexico

We checked out some more ruins. Josh especially liked Cozumel because he got to hunt for iguanas! He was pretty determined to catch one just by grabbing it with his hands. Come to find out, iguanas are really fast!
We rented a couple of these old beetles. Unfortunately, the shop we rented from made us pay for one of the many dings that had probably been there for 20 years. Pretty lame scam!

Grand Cayman

Snorkling got cancelled because of weather.
So, we visited the town of Hell instead. (we look pretty sad to be there, huh?)Then we found the best beach ever and snorkled on our own.
